The result of UPSC IAS (Indian Administrative Services) Mains has been further delayed and is expected to be declared somewhere by mid February. The exam was conducted from December 3 to December 9, 2016 in two sessions.
The result of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) IAS (Indian Administrative Services) Mains has been further delayed and is expected to be declared somewhere by mid February. All those who had appeared for the exam are required to keep a strict check at the official website www.upsc.gov.in . Last year, the results were declared on February 20, 2016.
The civil services exam consists of the following two stages:
- Civil services (preliminary) examination (objective type) for the selection of candidates for the main examination
- Civil services (main) examination (written and interview) for the selection of candidates for the various services and posts.
It is India’s central agency authorised to conduct the Civil Services Examination, Engineering Services Examination, Combined Medical Services Examination, Combined Defence Services Examination, National Defence Academy Examination, Naval Academy Examination and other important government exams.
